What areas do you service?
I primarily serve Brisbane, Bayside, Logan and the Gold Coast, but I'm open to traveling further depending on the project. Feel free to enquire about specific locations!
What’s the best time to have an outdoor session?
Golden hour, roughly an hour before sunset, paints the sky with dreamy light, making it a favorite time for outdoor sessions. Early morning also offers soft, flattering light. If you have flexibility, we can discuss the best timing based on your desired location and style.
What happens if I need to reschedule?
Plans change, so can our session!
Life happens! As long as you give me at least 48 hours' notice, I can try to reschedule your session within 30 days of the original booking, subject to availability.
If you need to reschedule your session for any reason other than bad weather, you can transfer your deposit to a new date within 30 days, subject to availability.
Are deposits refundable?
Deposits secure your spot and are non-refundable. They can however, be transferred to a new date within 30 days of your original booking, subject to availability. This helps me maintain scheduling consistency and plan ahead.
When will I receive my gallery?
Your memories, delivered! Your online gallery will be ready for viewing and download within 3-4 weeks of your session. I'll send you a notification as soon as it's live!
Do I own the copyright to my images?
Owning your story! You'll receive a non-exclusive print release with your gallery, allowing you to print and share your images personally. However, I retain the copyright for commercial use. If you have specific needs, we can discuss extended usage rights.
How should we dress for our family session?
Comfort and natural style are key. Choose outfits that reflect your personalities and make you feel relaxed. Avoid overly-matched clothing or distracting patterns. Consider color palettes that complement your chosen location. For more specific guidance, let me know where and when we'll be shooting!
What's the best time to have a newborn session?
Tiny wonders, timeless moments!
The ideal time for a newborn session is within the first two weeks, when babies are sleepy and flexible. However, I'm happy to capture your little one's magic anytime within their first few months. Remember, their personality starts shining through earlier than you think!
What happens if the weather is bad?
Rain, rain, go away! Don't let cloudy skies get you down. They can even add a dramatic touch!
However, if heavy rain or unsafe weather is predicted, I'll offer you a complimentary date change to ensure the best results.
How many pictures will we receive?
The number of images you receive depends on the duration of your session and complexity of the shoot. Generally, you can expect between 30-70 professionally edited photos for a standard session.
Camera shy? No problem!
My relaxed and fun approach helps even the most hesitant folks feel comfortable. We'll focus on natural interactions and emotions, letting your genuine personalities shine through. Think laughter, snuggles, and simply being yourselves!
